Celeste Ntuli is a powerhouse in South African comedy and acting, celebrated as the Queen of Zulu Comedy. Known for her trailblazing achievements, she became the first local female comedian to record a one-woman show DVD — Seriously, Celeste — solidifying her place in the industry as a pioneer.

Originally from Empangeni, Celeste is the sixth of eight siblings. She completed her studies in Entertainment Technology at the Durban University of Technology, where her love for performance was cemented. Her comedy journey began in 2005, and by 2009, she was already a finalist on So You Think You’re Funny.

Since then, Celeste has become a household name, performing at top shows including Blacks Only, SA Comic’s Choice Awards, and Stand Up Zulu. She took her talent international in 2022 with a sold-out show at London’s Leicester Square Theatre.

She’s also a gifted actress, known for her roles in Isibaya, Lockdown, 10 Days in Sun City, and Looking for Love, as well as her appearance in Trippin with Skhumba.
