Bongani Dube (also known as Bongani Nkosi) is a dynamic South African comedian with over 14 years of experience. He has earned multiple nominations at the prestigious Savanna Comics’ Choice Awards and was hand-picked to perform in Trevor Noah’s Nationwide Comedy Series.

Currently, Bongani is touring his debut one-man show, *Up n Up*, across South Africa — a powerful and hilarious exploration of life, growth, and resilience. He is also the author of the forthcoming book, *The Life, Lies, and Laughter of a Comic*.

Born into a musical family and the nephew of the iconic comedy duo, The Pimps, Bongani’s roots in performance run deep. He began performing music in clubs at the age of 12 and made a mark on the global stage in 1994, singing South Africa’s national anthem at the first-ever African World Cup Final in Italy.

His on-screen journey includes roles in classic comedy productions such as *The Lekker Boys* (1997) where he played DJ Nkosi, and hosting the second annual African MTV Video Awards in 1999, broadcast internationally.
