Aubrey “Postman” Modiba (born 22 July 1995 in Polokwane, South Africa) is a versatile footballer who plays as a left-back and left midfielder for Mamelodi Sundowns in the Premier Soccer League. He developed his skills at the School of Excellence and through the Nedbank Ke Yona talent search, before going on to represent South Africa at youth level, including the Rio 2016 Olympics, and later with the senior national team.
Modiba joined Sundowns in October 2020 and quickly became known for his adaptability, defensive strength, and attacking creativity. A leftfooted player with an eye for both goals and assists, he has made more than 70 appearances for the club. Internationally, he has earned over 30 caps for Bafana Bafana, contributing important performances along the way.
Respected for his tactical intelligence and technical consistency, Modiba continues to be a reliable and influential figure for both club and country.
