Mduduzi Dlamini who goes by the stage name "Mdura" burst onto the comedy scene in 2014 in a competition called "LOL Comedy Competition" where he impressed the judges abd audience with his everyday life inspired comedy about relationships, stereotypes, religion and his personal life.
The comedian who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science Degree from the University of Swaziland, left his fulltime job to concentrate on his passion, which is standup comedy in 2015. He has since gone onto make history by being the first professional Swazi comedian to have a one man show, one also went on to be a sold out show. Mdura has sold out all shows he has hosted in the Kingdom of Swaziland, including his maiden recorded show, "Zero Chill".
The Savanna Comics' Choice Pan African Award Ambassador has performed in and out of Swaziland in countries including South Africa, Botswana and has shared the stage with comedians such as Thenjiwe, Khanyisa Bunu, AY, Tollass Mo, Trevor Gumbi, Kansime, Nina Hastie, Phenyo The Master and many others.
